“Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself! My name is Francesco Gelo and I am a Sicilian. My passion for cooking comes from early childhood and my career began at the age of 14 in a restaurant of my beloved city Agrigento, where I worked till I was 21. After that I opened my own restaurant based on traditional Sicilian cuisine. My desire to find new tastes brought me to Denmark, where I was lucky enough to find the love of my life – a Latvian girl who brought me to Latvia. My cooking is simple and based on Mediterranean cuisine with international nuances. I am very happy to work in Latvia, as it gives me an opportunity to find new, interesting tastes and introduce to real, traditional Italian cuisine. I welcome you with open arms!”
